About me… (and disclaimer)

I am not an author, journalist, politician, history professor, or rabbi. I don’t hold any professional credentials by which to claim that my opinions are actually worth anything. I am a cardiologist. I am married (happily for 20 years) and have four totally awesome children. I grew up in the United States in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We moved to Phoenix, Arizona where I began practicing medicine in 2005. Our family moved to Ra’anana, Israel in June 2019. A journal about our experience moving to Israel may be found at: aliyah.move2israel.com

In order to get things going I have posted several initial topics for discussion. But my preference is that I not be the only one generating topics. I invite everyone to post additional topics as well.

I am trying to keep this site open-minded and not beholden to any one political viewpoint. That said, everyone has their own biases and I am no exception. The best I can do is to acknowledge this fact. To that end also, I have posted these initial topics by which you may judge my own biases. In this open and honest environment I have nothing to hide. Nor should you.
